Ooma number porting progress
Following the previous update, my number is still in progress for porting from Verizon to Ooma. On 1/16, I was notified by email of the acknowledgment of my porting request paperwork. Finally, on 2/6, I received the follow up email letting me know when to expect the porting to complete.
From what I have read in the forum, some people received their expected date of completion email shortly after the paperwork was submitted. My experience wasn’t similar to others in this regard. It took them 21 days for that email and my expected completion date is on 2/10!
If completed by 2/10, that means it took them 25 days to port my number from Verizon to Ooma. I’ve already rewired what I needed to make the transition seamless. As soon as I realize the porting is done, I have to plug in two wires and all the phones in my house will work as usual, hopefully. :good:
I’ll update again once it’s done, perhaps on tuesday as expected!
